Having worked extensively with tech startups, Asif brings a unique perspective and appreciation for the legal matters and concerns founders face when trying to scale and protect their rapidly growing brands.
Potent legal counsel for flourishing brands
Early in his career, Asif gained seminal experience working closely with top brands such as the College Licensing Company, NBA, NHL, MLB, and NFL on their brand protection strategy and enforcement efforts. After law school, he began his legal career working for an early-stage TechStars-backed startup where he worked with founders and tech entrepreneurs to secure work visas (EB-1 and 0-1). Asif’s early legal experience, coupled with his corporate experience, allows him to provide his clients with robust legal support through every stage of growth.

Having grown up in the small, farm town of Hilmar, CA, Asif feels fortunate to work closely with technology companies and innovators who are creating tomorrow’s technology innovations today. As the product of a town of less than 6,000 inhabitants Asif understands the power of a close knit community and jumps at the opportunity to give a helping hand or meet-up with aspiring lawyers and entrepreneurs for coffee. He also volunteers to judge Gonzaga Law School’s Saul Lefkowitz moot court team.
No stranger to a warm flannel and a locally-sourced meal.
Asif works and lives in Spokane, WA where he adores spending time with his fiancée, daughter, and dog. An avid and aspiring semi-professional bass fisherman, he loves spending time outdoors. When he’s away from the water, he finds relaxation in his backyard gardening or barbequing. A firm believer in sustainable agriculture, he’s a patron of local regenerative agriculture and family farms.
