Meet Joshua

Joshua Haubenstock

Legal Officer

Joshua helps our clients safeguard their brands and other private information through legal strategies and sound data privacy and security practices. His first priority is to protect your intellectual property and keep moving your business forward.

From a successful solo practice to a winning team.

Like many of our clients, Joshua is a true entrepreneur. Before joining Foundry Law Group, Joshua founded a successful solo IP, privacy, and entertainment practice. Even as a solo practitioner, he leaned heavily on his network of accomplished colleagues. Joshua leveraged their strengths and knowledge on behalf of his clients to deliver the highly responsive, sustainable, and strategic legal guidance our business community needs and deserves.

His ability to coordinate—and effectively collaborate with—a winning legal team to meet his clients’ specific needs has made him a trusted advisor to many.  In Foundry Law Group, he recognized a ready-made cadre of like-minded colleagues: adept, entrepreneurial lawyers who possess first-hand knowledge of the matters that businesses face, and who deliver legal services with integrity, passion, and a commitment to client success.

Finding his niche at the intersection of IP, entertainment, and privacy law.

Joshua was raised in Hollywood with a parent who worked exclusively in the entertainment industry.

His very personal connection to this industry and the artists that inhabit it, cultivated an early awareness of the need to protect the rights to your work. He witnessed artists of every kind, pouring their heart and soul into their creative expressions. Over the years, Joshua’s awareness grew into a passion, eventually leading him to a legal career committed to safeguarding artistic creations as well as business brands.

An integral part of protecting clients’ intellectual assets and data.

Over the course of his career, Joshua has worked with artists and businesses across a variety of mediums, industries, and legal matters. His experience routinely includes, entertainment counseling, negotiating and protecting licensing for content creators and software companies, drafting and review of service agreements, defense of copyright infringement and trademark protection—both domestic and international.

Joshua thrives on the opportunity to work side by side with Foundry’s clients, helping them protect and leverage their data and intellectual assets. Foundry’s uniquely collaborative culture and client-focused approach, ensures that our clients stay abreast of the constantly evolving intellectual property, data privacy, and security legislation.
